A Note on Consistency – From Coach Alicia
One key aspect of our training is consistency. By prioritising consistency in your training, you can maximise your results and achieve your fitness goals effectively. Attending classes regularly and sticking to the program is crucial. Even on days when you may not feel your best or can’t give 100%, simply showing up and moving your body consistently will lead to noticeable improvements over time.
Create a habit to attend classes consistently and stay committed to your training. Trust the process and know that every effort you put in counts towards your progress.
Member Spotlight – Jason
How long have you trained at CrossFit OneFive?
I’ve been training at Onefive for just over 16 months
What made you choose OneFive and what keeps you motivated to come back?
At the start it was close to home and work, giving me no excuses not to go but as time went on meeting a bunch of new people with support and motivation it quickly turned into I can’t wait to get back to One Five
Your current goals?
My current goal is to get my ass in to crossfit 3 times a week rain, hail or shine!
Favourite movement:
Deadlift
Least favourite movement:
It’s not really a movement but the echo bike gets me every time.
Can you share a personal success story or achievement since joining our gym?
Starting CrossFit was a big step for me as I never had a gym membership or anything like that.
Always watching videos and YouTube of CrossFit online and not doing anything about it, so glad I did. Pushing my self and encouraged by others at Onefive to lifting weights & movements I never thought were possible.
What music do you like to listen to while working out?
Old school R&B/Hip Hop.
Favourite food?
Home made pizza.
Any advice for people thinking about starting?
If you’re sitting on the fence like I was about change & pushing boundaries get in touch with Onefive all it takes is one little message on messenger, facebook or phone and you’re on your way !
