Hunter Valley Winery Run
A local winery running event is being held at Wandin on the 21st of July. There are a variety of different distances to participate in including 2km, 5km, 10.5km, half marathon and full marathon.
This is a fun community day that many members and coaches signed up for last year and will be taking on again this year.
We have members running in many different categories and are ready to have a fun day, support one another and display our fitness abilities out in the community.
We would love to see as many people there and would love for anyone to join us and get involved!

Farewell Coach Delta
As many good things come to an end, it is time to farewell our amazing Coach Delta. Delta has been coaching with us for 2 years now, as the first employee of OneFive. She has been incredible as a coach, member, friend and athlete and we are extremely sad to see her leave. We wish her all of the luck in Newcastle as she continues her career and studies.
Member Spotlight – JARROD
How long have you trained at CrossFit OneFive?
2 years in July
What made you choose OneFive and what keeps you motivated to come back?
Came for the location that worked for home, work and life in general, stayed for the environment, and community that has been built.
Your current goals?
Eat better and move better and the PR goals will come to lift heavier things!
Favourite movement:
Cleans and snatches, came to OneFive hating snatches but quickly became one of my favourite lifts.
Least favourite movement:
Running and burpees are equally disliked.
Can you share a personal success story or achievement since joining our gym?
After 5 years across various CrossFit gyms, I have never moved the weights I do now at OneFive, and injury free!
What music do you like to listen to while working out?
Country bangers!
Favourite food?
Steak… A good well cooked (or not cooked much in my case) steak is my go to.
Any advice for people thinking about starting?
Jump in and give it a go, what you get out of CrossFit will surprise you. We’ve all heard the negative opinions on CrossFit, but they aren’t true so come make your own mind up, you wont regret it.
